This site collects as little as possible. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and the contact form on the main page never sends your details anywhere. Here is exactly how it works.

Who runs this site

This site belongs to Christian Givens, a licensed real estate agent with Compass, serving Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

The contact form stays on your phone

The form on the main page asks for your first name and your phone number, and lets you pick what you are looking for. It uses those answers to write a text message for you.

Nothing you type is sent to this website or stored on any server. When you press the button, your own phone opens its messaging app with the message already written, and nothing goes anywhere until you press send yourself. If you close the page instead, your answers disappear with it.

Once you do send that text, Christian has your phone number and whatever you wrote, the same as any other text message you send someone. He uses it to answer you and to follow up about buying or selling a home. He does not add you to a marketing list from it.

If you use the longer consultation form

The main page also links to a longer consultation form that opens on a separate website run by HubSpot. That form is not part of this site. If you choose to fill it out, HubSpot collects what you enter and passes it to Christian, under HubSpot's own privacy policy.

What happens automatically when you visit

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like every web host, their servers record basic technical details each time a page loads, including your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the pages you requested and the time you requested them. These are standard server records used to deliver the site and keep it secure. Christian does not use them to build a profile of you.

The page also loads its two typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive your IP address in order to send the font files. The request is set up so Google is not told which page you were reading. Google describes its handling of this in the Google Privacy Policy. Nothing else on this site loads from a third party.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok or anyone else, no session recording and no chat widget. It does not store anything in your browser between visits. That is why you are not seeing a cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you about.

Links to Christian's social profiles, his Compass page and his digital business card are ordinary links. Those sites only learn about you if you choose to click through to them, and then their own policies apply.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control signal asking sites not to track you across the web. This site does not track you across the web in the first place and has nothing to turn off, so those signals do not change how it behaves.

Your information is never sold

Christian does not sell, rent or trade your information, and does not share it for anyone else's advertising. If you reach out, your details may be seen by the people normally involved in a real estate transaction, for example his brokerage, a lender, a title company or a transaction coordinator, and only when that is part of helping you buy or sell.

How long things are kept

Because the form sends nothing, there is no database of visitors behind this site. If you text, call or email, that message lives in Christian's phone or inbox for as long as it is useful for working with you or for records he is required to keep as a licensed agent. Host records are kept on Netlify's normal schedule.

Seeing, correcting or deleting what he has

You can ask Christian what he has from you, ask him to correct it, or ask him to delete it. Email christiangrealtor@gmail.com or call 301 221 3635 and he will take care of it. There is no cost, and asking will not change how he works with you. Some records tied to a completed transaction may have to be kept because real estate rules require it.

If you would rather he stop contacting you, say so in a reply or ask him directly and he will stop.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying and selling homes. It is not directed to children under 13, and Christian does not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has sent information, contact him and he will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes in a way that affects your information, for example if analytics or a booking tool is ever added, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change. Significant changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
